Synopsis
’HotBoy’ is an experimental, 3d animated video inspired by the class "music video & visual music" which I had during my 3th semester at Animation University, BTK Berlin. Part of it’s concept is my theory thesis „glitch aesthetics as a product of irritability in a digital society“.
Director's BIO
Manuel Tozzi is a new media artist & graphic designer based in Berlin, born July 10, 1994. Currently studying at Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule, Manuel also works in the fields of animation, installation & branding. He was been awarded a Youth Innovativ Award in 2014. Manuel Tozzi’s animation works gain inspiration from video game design & science fiction. Solaris (2018) is an art installation describes as an experience where the upstart meets the spark of ingenuity. The work premiered at the Tech Open Air Conference in Berlin. Manuel also produces music under the name of Atlantyx. Together with VJ Ctrybe their eponymous audiovisual project was shown at Clubs like Grelle Forelle, Alte Münze & Funkhaus.
