Synopsis
A man tries to keep pace in front of the hand of a clock, turning ever faster, until he's overtaken by time itself. PACE is an animated short film exploring our relationship with time and today's constant feeling of not having enough of it.
Director's BIO
Kai Stänicke produces and directs films in Berlin. He was part of Saatchi&Saatchi New German Directors Showcase 2012, Berlinale Talents 2016 and Nespresso Talents 2018. As a filmmaker he doesn't limit himself to certain production methods, but creates his films based on the stories' needs: as live action films as well as animation or experimental films.
